However, instead of honour, he unearths a legacy tainted by betrayal, deadly rivals who wish him dead, and shattering secrets that bring embarrassment to the Orzotti lineage.

As Thomas’ connection to Guidaloste grows stronger, via a mysterious amulet – a wouivre – he realises that he holds the key to an age-old mystery. But ruthless enemies are watching, eager to harness the wouivre’s power for themselves.
